For years, EA has treated sports gaming fans on PC like garbage.
For a while, EA released half-hearted “ports” of popular EA Sports games like NHL, Madden, and FIFA on PC. But these ports were hardly playable and were nowhere close to their console counterparts.
This may be the year that EA Sports changes its tune. Or at least, that’s what it’s doing for FIFA.
Yes, while EA is actively destroying popular franchises like the Sims and Battlefield, it may be doing some good with its sports games. FIFA 15 will be released this fall and the FIFA 15 demo was released today.

Here’s what you need to know about FIFA 15:
-The demo is free-to-play
-EA is calling it an “Ignite Engine” demo instead of a FIFA 15 game demo
-You can use the demo to push your PC to the max or to gauge its performance
Minimum PC specs for FIFA 15 include:
Windows 7, 8, 8.1 (64-bit required)
CPU: Intel Q6600 Core 2 Quad @ 2.4Ghz or higher
RAM: 4GB
Hard drive space: 15GB
Video card: ATI Radeon HD 5770, Nvidia GTX 650 or higher
DirectX Version: 11.0
