What is Traffclick.me Pop-ups? And how does it work?

Traffclick Pop ups

Traffclick.me Pop-ups is a new kind of browser redirect that you could encounter while browsing the internet. This browser redirect displays a pop-up notification that asks users to click on the Allow button to show notifications from this questionable website. Aside from that, it also shows a message that urges users to click Allow to verify that they are not a robot. This is obviously a trick and once you click on the Allow button, you will not only get notifications from this site but also all kinds of pop-ups, banners, in-text links, and other sponsored content from several suspicious sites affiliated with this browser redirect.

On the other hand, if you keep seeing this pop-up no matter how many times you have clicked on the Block button, then chances are, your computer is infected with some ad-supported program or adware. Adware programs are known to trigger not just redirects to tech support scams but also to malicious domains that display shady pop-ups like Traffclick.me Pop-ups. Redirecting you to suspicious sites is not the only thing that adware programs are capable of as it also delivers you dozens of ads. In addition, it also tracks all your online activities in order to collect your information that may include your IP address, websites visited, browsing history, email address, and other information, both personal and non-personal ones.

Closing the browser displaying the pop-up would only be a temporary fix. Thus, if you wish to fully eliminate the Traffclick.me Pop-ups, you must get down to the root cause of it which is the adware program installed in your computer.
