Follow the given instructions below to get rid of

Step 1: Reset your browsers to their default state.

Google Chrome

  1. Tap Win + E to open File Explorer.
  2. Navigate to the following location:

%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\

  1. Look for the folder that represents your profile in Chrome and open it.
  2. Right click on the files named Preferences, Secure Preferences, and Web data and then delete or overwrite each one of them.
  3. Close the File Explorer
  4. Empty the Recycle Bin.


Mozilla Firefox

  1. Tap Win + E to open File Explorer.
  2. And then go to:


  1. Look for the folder that represents your profile in Firefox and open it.
  2. Look for js and open it in Notepad.
  3. Replace in the user_pref(“browser.startup.homepage”, “ “); with your preferred address.
  4. Save the changes and close Mozilla Firefox.

The next step below is not recommended for you if you don’t know how to navigate the Registry Editor. Making registry changes can highly impact your computer. Internet Explorer

  1. Tap Win + R to launch Run.
  2. Type in regedit and tap Enter.
  3. Go to the following location:

  2. Right click on it and then click Modify.
  3. Replace with a reliable web address and then press OK.
  4. Close the Registry Editor.
  5. Empty the Recycle Bin.

Step 2: Hold down Windows + E keys simultaneously to open File Explorer.

Step 3: Navigate to the following directories and look for suspicious files associated to and delete it/them.

  • %USERPROFILE%\Downloads
  • %USERPROFILE%\Desktop
  • %TEMP%

Step 4: Close the File Explorer.

Step 5: Empty your Recycle Bin.


To make sure that nothing is amiss and that is completely removed from your computer, follow the advanced steps below.

Perform a full system scan using SpyRemover Pro. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Turn on your computer. If it’s already on, you have to reboot
