Pricing, Resolution, and Sizes
Monitors are like TVs: they vary widely in price. Depending on the make, model, resolution, and durability of your monitor, you could pay anywhere from $80 to $2,000.
An average 22-inch 1980x1080p office monitor will cost between $100 and $200. If you bump up to 24 inches, you can expect to pay around $150 to $250.
For most offices, 22 inch to 24 inch monitors are perfectly fine. However, if you need to maximize screen real estate, you may need two or three monitors for workstation. Or, you may consider bumping up to a 2560×1400 display (typically around 27 inches) or a UHD display (typically around 30-inches).
Be warned, however, that 27-inch quadHD displays will cost around $500 while UHD displays will cost around $1,500 to $2,000.
For most offices, full HD displays around 22-inches in size are perfect. Expect to pay between $100 and $200 per monitor.

Built-in Speakers, External Speakers, or Headphones?
Some monitors come with built-in speakers. Others do not.
Monitors with built-in speakers help you save desktop space. They can also save you a lot of money: you don’t need to buy speakers for every workstation.
However, if noise is a major concern at your office, then you may want to stick with headphones. All your productivity improvements will be wasted if your office is super noisy. Some offices also find issues with employees watching videos and listening to music at the desk instead of working if they provide built-in speakers.

Wall mounts can save space in your office while reducing clutter. They make your office look neat and professional and can also help employees avoid back problems and health problems.
Wall mounts, however, won’t work in every office. Cubicles and wall mounts don’t work well together.

Other Things to Consider
-Warranty: Good monitors come with three year warranties that cover parts, labor, and lighting problems. A good warranty helps you avoid dead pixel problems and other issues.
-LEDs vs LCD: LEDs and LCDs are more similar than many people think. LEDs, however, tend to provide the same quality while consuming less energy. This won’t make a major impact on your bottom line if you just have one or two employees. But an office full of LED monitors will use noticeably less energy than an office full of LCDs.
-Viewing Angles: Do employees frequently need to look over each other’s shoulders or gather around a monitor? Or do employees appreciate a bit of privacy? Viewing angles vary widely from brand to brand, and in many cases, the best way to assess viewing angles is to read reviews or check out a monitor in-store.
-Matte vs. Gloss: Choosing between matte and gloss PC monitors comes down to the amount of sunlight in your office. Do you have a sunny, bright office throughout the day? Or is it mostly dim and darker? Matte screens perform better in direct sunlight, while direct sunlight can make glossy screens virtually unusable. Glossy screens, however, typically have better colors.
