Search Manager is a browser extension and  is classified as an adware-type PUP  or potentially unwanted program. It’s super popular but still an unwanted one, however, Search Manager is light years away from being harmless. What’s in store for you  in this tool are tricks and shenanigans. Mainly, it “lets you easily switch between search engines directly from the new tab page”, so don’t ever believe this parasite’s empty promises and bogus functionalities. This is indeed a nasty PC parasite created by hackers to serve their malicious purposes and get their dark motives done. How does this virus work? As soon as it reach your PC, Search Manager starts messing with your browser settings. It automatically invades, neither your permission nor consent is required. Once your PC gets compromised or infected, your preferences are no longer relevant. Hackers are in control now. The only thing they are interested in is gaining dubious profit online, and so this is where the pop-ups come in. Search Manager innjects your browsers with irritating, useless, sponsored ads pop-ups.

In non-techy terms, Search Manager is a browser hijacker that is bundled with other free software that you download off of the Internet with or without needing your consent. Once installed, this browser hijacker will set the homepage and search engine for your web browser to Search Manager New Tab.

The Search Manager browser hijacker is usually comes bundled with other free programs that you download off of the Internet. Unfortunately, some free downloads do not adequately disclose that other software will also be installed and you may unconsciously  find that you have installed Search Manager..

These web links that appear cover every single website you visit, nothing as annoying as that, and  you could imagine, that completely destroys your everyday browsing experience. You will waste your time dealing with pesky commercials and annoying links. However, although it’s being sponsored, these ads are also very dangerous and malicious. Always take note that a sponsored link is never a trustworthy one. Search Manager doesn’t discriminate between safe and unsafe advertisements because it caters and displays both kinds. The thing is, there’s no telling which link is corrupted and which one is not. So the outcome if you want to find out, you will resort to click the ad. That might turn out to be a crucial mistake as well. You could easily end up on some harmful websites full of malware that would further damage your PC. The end result, you will compromise you own computer. If you don’t want to risk a thing for your PC,  stay away from anything Search Manager generates because it is corrupted and unsafe. Another malicious motive of this program is that it exhibits privacy-related issues. The Search Manager tool actually collects all your browsing related activities and your browsing history. That means your private life online is compromised as well. Your sensitive data gets diligently monitored and sent straight to Search Manager’s developers, and yes, hackers now have access to your detailed personal information. Overall, Search Manager slows down the overall PC speed in relation to being bombarded with third party software and other sneaky malware, and it may causes your overwhelmed browsers to crash and/or freeze more often.
