There are lots of annoyances and risks for your computer these days, and one of them is the Widgi Toolbar. It is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) from Spigot inc., which is primarily categorized as an adware and a potentially unwanted program. Basically, it is presented as one of Internet Explorer components and, in most cases, can be downloaded together with IE during  updates. However, it may also appear on  other Internet browsers like your Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and any other web browser without your permission being asked. As soon as it gets inside your computer and penetrates in the system, it may modifies system settings what may cause the appearance of unknown start page, default search engine and even a new tab page on each of your web browsers. Once this toolbar finishes needed system changes, it may start messing up around by displaying non-stop annoying pop-up ads, change search results and other questionable content during victim’s browsing on the web or simply redirects. More so, it may start to slow down your PC system or may also redirect you to unfamiliar or malicious  websites. This technique is used for helping these sites to increase their page and traffic to their websites, thus monetize the tactics. No matter how this toolbar may seem like a typical  and harmless search tool, you should be mindful in order your computer because when you ignore the Widgi Toolbar redirects you may be tricked into visiting dangerous or unsafe sites. These sites may trick you into installing more potentially unwanted programs on the system knowingly and unknowingly.
Generally, though technically this program is not considered to be a virus, you should be very careful in dealing with Widgi Toolbar.
