What is Forbidden Rasd ransomware? And how does it implement its attack?

Forbidden Rasd ransomware is a data-encrypting virus designed to lock targeted data in a computer. Based on the analysis done by security experts, this new crypto-malware has uncanny similarities with VevoLocker ransomware.
Once it infects a computer, it implements a series of modifications in the system. It starts by dropping its payload file and use it to connect to a remote Command and Control server. Once the connection is established, it downloads its other malicious components and places them on system folders. It then obtains information and uses it along with the malicious components of the stealth protection module which allows the crypto-malware to execute its attack without any interference. It also creates and modifies some entries in the Windows Registry, allowing to automatically run on every system boot. Shortly after it modifies the system, it begins encrypting its targeted files and releases a ransom note that states:
“Oops, your website has been encrypted!
All files will be deleted on :

The best thing you can do is to terminate Forbidden Rasd ransomware from your computer first and then try other alternative ways to recover the encrypted files.
