JOORING.COM is a browser hijacker in form. A browser hijacker is a type of malware that is basically designed to modify your browser’s settings. How to remove JOORING.COM redirect virus manually?

  1. Find JOORING.COM in the list of installed programs and uninstall it.
  2. Open Task Manager and close all programs, which has name JOORING.COM in their description. Check the directories where such programs start. Erase all of them too.
  3. Disable auto starting of services with JOORING.COM in it’s name.
  4. Delete tasks with JOORING.COM in it’s name.
  5. Find and delete all keys with virus name in it’s content.
  6. After that, check shortcuts of your browsers if they have additional addresses at the end of command line. Check if shortcuts runs real browsers, not fakes. Remember: Chromium is fake browser, real name have to be Chrome.
  7. Check all plug-ins of all installed browsers: Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc. if they have our virus name in their names or directory.
  8. After that, check settings of search and homepage of your browser. Reset them if needed.
  9. And at the end, clear your basket, temporal files, browser’s cache.

But if you miss any of these steps and only one part of virus remains – it will come back again immediately or after reboot.
 

Delete the Scheduled Task Responsible for Jooring.com/mrts Pop-ups:

Windows XP:

  1. Click Start button.
  2. Select All Programs => Accessories => System Tools => Scheduled Tasks.
  3. Find and delete the task called “jooringcommrtsm” or the one that has “jooring.com/mrtsm” URL somewhere in the Run column.

 
Windows Vista/  Windows 7/ Windows 8/8.1 / Windows 10:

  1. Press Windows key + R key.
  2. Type taskschd.msc and press Enter.
  3. Click on Task Scheduler Library on the left panel.
  4. Select Actions tab on the lower center panel.
  5. Find and delete the task called “jooringcommrtsm” or the one that has “jooring.com/mrtsm” URL somewhere in the Details column.

Note: If you cannot open Task Scheduler, open Windows Explorer instead and go to C:\Windows\System32\Tasks. Find and delete the file called “jooringcommrtsm” (the ending might differ).
 

Remove Jooring.com From Programs and Features:

Go to Programs and Features, uninstall any suspicious programs, programs you don’t remember installing, or programs you installed just before Jooring.com/mrtm pop-ups started to appear on your browser. When you are not sure if a program is safe, look for the answer on the Internet.
 
Windows XP:

  1. Click Start.
  2. In the Start menu select Settings => Control Panel.
  3. Find and click Add or Remove Programs.
  4. Highlight the program.
  5. Click Remove.

 
Windows Vista:

  1. Click Start.
  2. In the Start menu select Control Panel.
  3. Find and click Uninstall a program.
  4. Highlight the program.
  5. Click Uninstall.

 
Windows 7:

  1. Click Start.
  2. In the Start menu select Control Panel.
  3. Find and select Programs and Features or Uninstall a program.
  4. Highlight the program.
  5. Click Uninstall.

 
Windows 8/ Windows 8.1:

  1. Press and hold Windows key Windows key and hit X key.
  2. Select Programs and Features from the menu.
  3. Highlight the program.
  4. Click Uninstall.

 
Windows 10:

  1. Press and hold Windows key Windows key and hit X key.
  2. Select Programs and Features from the menu.
  3. Highlight the program.
  4. Click Uninstall.
