What is OnlineMusic Search? And how does it function?

OnlineMusic Search is a browser extension for Google Chrome browser that claims to allow users to search the web for unlimited music, songs, albums and music videos easily. This is why a lot of users – especially the ones who are fond of music – are lured into adding this extension to their Google Chrome browser. However, what these users don’t know is that OnlineMusic Search is actually an adware and a potentially unwanted program (PUP). It is currently ranked as a poor browser extension by security experts due to some of its unwanted behavior.
Once it is added on the browser, OnlineMusic Search quickly changes the home page and search engine without any permission from the users. Because of that, users will be redirected to various unsolicited suspicious websites that could potentially harm the computer. And whenever you use its search engine, you will be redirected to music.eanswers.com. Aside from that, this adware also causes annoying pop-ups, banners and links.
