What is BansomQare Manna ransomware? And how does it execute its attack?

BansomQare Manna ransomware is a file-encrypting threat designed to lock important data in an infected computer. This crypto-virus appears to be a new variant of “Bansomqare Wanna” which was first discovered not too long ago. Once it drops its malicious payload on a targeted machine, it will add more malicious files and place them on system folders. These malicious files are the ones used to keep BansomQare Manna ransomware undetected. They are also the ones used to make modifications in the Windows Registry which allows the crypto-virus to run on every system startup. After it achieves all these activities, it will start to scan the computer to look for files to encrypt. It may encrypt files with the following extensions:
.3gp, .7z, .apk, .avi, .bmp, .cdr, .cer, .chm, .conf, .css, .csv, .dat, .db, .dbf, .djvu, .dbx, .docm, ,doc, .epub, .docx .fb2, .flv, .gif, .gz, .iso .ibooks,.jpeg, .jpg, .key, .mdb .md2, .mdf, .mht, .mobi .mhtm, .mkv, .mov, .mp3, .mp4, .mpg .mpeg, .pict, .pdf, .pps, .pkg, .png, .ppt .pptx, .ppsx, .psd, .rar, .rtf, .scr, .swf, .sav, .tiff, .tif, .tbl, .torrent, .txt, .vsd, .wmv, .xls, .xlsx, .xps, .xml, .ckp, .zip, .java, .py, .asm, .c, .cpp, .cs, .js, .php, .dacpac, .rbw, .rb, .mrg, .dcx, .db3, .sql, .sqlite3, .sqlite, .sqlitedb, .psd, .psp, .pdb, .dxf, .dwg, .drw, .casb, .ccp, .cal, .cmx, .cr2
Once the encryption is done, it will add the .bitcoin suffix to each one of the encrypted file indicating that the files are locked and can no longer be accessed. It also places its ransom note named “bitcoin2018.txt” on every folder where there is an encrypted file. The ransom note contains a message that states:
“Send $100 worth of bitcoin to this address:
