Malware may reinstall itself multiple times if you don't delete its core files. This may require tracking down dozens of files in different locations.
We recommend downloading Restoro to eradicate Malware for you (it should cut down the time to about 15 minutes).
What is CryBrazil ransomware? And how does it carry out its attack?
CryBrazil ransomware is a file-encrypting virus designed to encode important files in a computer. It seems to mainly target Brazilian and Portuguese-speaking users based on its ransom note. Although that does not mean that other users are safe from this ransomware threat. This one uses a highly complex code and initiates a sequence of changes once its malicious payload is dropped in the system. The sequence of changes performed in the system involves the addition of more malicious files to help CryBrazil ransomware carry out its attack by avoiding detection from any antivirus program installed in the infected computer. In addition, it also modifies the registry keys in the Windows Registry so it can run on every system startup. Once these nefarious tasks are carried out, CryBrazil ransomware will scan the computer to look for files with specific file types. These file types may be:
.PNG .PSD .PSPIMAGE .TGA .THM .TIF .TIFF .YUV .AI .EPS .PS .SVG .INDD .PCT .PDF .XLR .XLS .XLSX .ACCDB .DB .DBF .MDB .PDB .SQL .APK .APP .BAT .CGI .COM .EXE .GADGET .JAR .PIF .WSF .DEM .GAM .NES .ROM .SAV CAD Files .DWG .DXF GIS Files .GPX .KML .KMZ .ASP .ASPX .CER .CFM .CSR .CSS .HTM .HTML .JS .JSP .PHP .RSS .XHTML. CryBrazil ransomware begins to encrypt files with the aforementioned formats once it finds them using a strong encryption algorithm. After the encryption, it appends the .crybrazil extension to each one of the affected files. Following data encryption, it changes the desktop wallpaper of the infected computer with a jpg file named “ranso4.jpg” which depicts an image of a clown. The ransom note reads:
“Ele que é o palhaço, mas sou eu quem põe fogo no circo.

To restore the encrypted file, right-click on it and select Properties, a new window will pop-up, then proceed to Previous Versions. It will load the file’s previous version before it was modified. After it loads, select any of the previous versions displayed on the list like the one in the illustration below. And then click the Restore button.
