Hey guys.
I have a drive that I need to get data for (Company/Personal) so this information is really important to me.
It’s a 320GB IDE drive and I can’t get it to work no matter what.
Whenever I plug the Hard-Drive into my computer it will SLOW down the entire system and sometimes prevent me from booting from a different Hard-Drive.

I tried installing Windows XP on the 320GB Hard-Drive but after it is done copying the windows files and needs to restart it will get stuck in the booting process.

I tried to install Windows XP on one of my spare 60GB hard-drives and it installed flawlessly, but as soon as I plug in the 320GB drive it will go down to ****s.

Is there anything you guys recommend doing so that I could get the data off the drive? It seems like no matter which method I try I can’t seem to get it to work. I have ran a chkdsk on the drive and it came back clean, BIOS recognizes the drive and everything but the drive doesn’t want to work properly.

Any advise from you experts would be greatly appreciated.
